Today, i would like to talk about the 'Silent B' in the MB spelling. It only happens at the end of words, for about 14 words as below.
(My English & Accounting teachers/lecturers used to say that accounting students should pronounce these no.12 & 13 correctly.. noted!)

2. Climb
3. Dumb
4. Lamb
5. Limb
6. Numb
7. Thumb
8. Plumber
9. Tomb
10. Womb
11. Catacomb
12. Debt
13. Doubt
14. Subtle
We can still add the necessary grammatical suffixes to the word. i.e CLIMB, CLIMBS, CLIMBED or CLIMBER. The B is still silent because the original word endend in MB. Please don't start skipping the B in number, combine, remember etc because the words not ended in MB. Remember... Oh My English! (>.<)

oh my English! hehe teringat dulu masa Asasi saya masih lagi membunyikan alphabet "B" dalam perkataan "BOMB" pastu lecturer kesayanyan tegur hehe....lepas tu dah faham dah Silent B ni hehehe
